The Countdown Begins!

There are only 10 days left until race day!  If you haven't yet, please visit Bayhead5k.com to register for the race and afterparty at Martell's Tiki Bar.  Please know that if you aren't able to register online, you can register for the race on the morning of.  There will be several registration tables in the Bay Head Fire House on Bridge Avenue before the race begins.  And if you're planning on welcoming summer with a mimosa after the race, you can purchase tickets to the afterparty at the door of Martells.  There will be music, live auction, full buffet, and open bar from 12 to 2 so don't miss out!

This is the time of year where every member of the Kate Shea Foundation is working rigorously to ensure that everything is ready for race day. For me, its the most fun time. Working with Kate's best friends' from high school, people I don't get to see as often as I'd like, brings part of her back to life for me.  It is such an honor to work with such dedicated and loving people who all share the same mission: kicking leukemia's butt!  Although race day is bittersweet for my family and I, it is truely such a wonderful tribute and celebration of Kate's life.

Please invite all of your friends and family to join you on race day.  I know all of mine will be there!  See you at the finish line.
